HOMEMADE ONION POWDER #homemade #dinner #recipes #lunch #shrimp

This year in our nursery I planted a LOT of onions. Which all developed… ..kinda. They were not your run of the mill baseball measured onions, they were more golf ball estimated. So I pondered how to manage my minuscule onions and chose to get dried out them and make them into Homemade Onion Powder.

Google educated me it was simple peasy. So to work I went cutting every one of the onions daintily (and cried and cried) at that point dried out them in my dehydrator. On the off chance that you don't have a dehydrator you can dry them in the stove (heat the broiler to your most minimal setting and dry until fresh and dry). My dehydrator is a dinosaur so it took 6 hours for the exceptionally slim onions to dry.

You will need to ensure they are totally very dry before placing them into a nourishment processor and crushing into a fine powder. Try not to open the nourishment processor immediately simply let it sit for 5 minutes or else you will have a gigantic chaos of onion powder all over you and the counter and floor (not excessively I would know for a fact).
