Ingredients :

  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • Oil
  • Scallions
  • Rice
  • 1/4 Cup Rice Wine-Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup Soy-sauce or liquid-aminos
  • 1 inch ginger Fresh and finely grated
  • 1 Small-Apple finely grated
  • 2 Cloves Garlic finely grated
  • 15 oz tofu Extra firm
  • 2 Tsp Gochujang paste
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame-seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Tomato-sauce canned
  • 2 Tbsp Agave-syrup
  • 1/2 Cup Corn-starch

Instructions :
  1. First, press the tofu. Press the block of tofu for a minimum of 30 minutes, more longger more better. You may also do it in the morning before you intend to make that recipe.
  2. Then, make the Korean BBQ: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk all the tomato-sauce, soy-sauce, rice wine-vinegar, Gochujang, agave, the finely grated apple, ginger, garlic, and sesame-seeds. Whisk until blended. Put aside.
  3. After that, choose your pressed block of tofu, cut into cubes, thinner rectangular pieces or whatever you preffer.
  4. Add the tofu into a large mixing-bowl, then sprinkle with the corn-starch and salt. Toss to coat all the tofu.
  5. And now, heat just a tiny bit of oil in the base of a nonstick pan on medium-heat.Then, add the tofu to the pan, don’t over when put the tofu, if the pan is too small to fit it all, do it in 2 batches.
  6. Brown the tofu on every sides, reducing heat as necessary. It is going to take a couple of minutes on each side to get the tofu crispy and nice. Move all the tofu out of the pan, put into a bowl.
