It doesn't take a lot to make me nostalgic. I even get nostalgic for times and places while I'm still there. A radiant day, a whiff of new bagels, the flavor of a mixed drink… anything can set me off. Also, recently I've been thoughtful for our excursion to Montreal – no doubt, the one that was just similar to 2 months prior – on the grounds that we found such a large number of cool things and returned to a portion of my old top picks, and it was extremely otherworldly. So this portion of Patio Drinks is committed to our city break in Montreal, and the mixed drink I had on a stormy night at Kinka Izakaya: Sake Sangria!

We discovered Kinka Izakaya night-time of looking through Yelp surveys searching for a decent spot to eat (in some cases there's such an unbelievable marvel as an excessive amount of decision). It was our last night in Montreal and it had down-poured throughout the day, and Neil had stalled out in one of his new shoes while strolling around downtown.

We were feeling somewhat wore out. In any case, the subsequent we ventured into Kinka, three astonishing things assaulted my faculties at the same time: the smell of cedar (so great), a pounding funk/hip bounce mashup impacting on the sound framework, and the staff cheerfully hollering "welcome!" to us in Japanese. I right away felt restored. And afterward we took a gander at the beverage menu, and I felt surprisingly better.
